Which ECU Programmer is confirmed for reading and writing VAG Delphi DCM6.2V via OBD? Is there an alternative method other than OBD?
ECUhelp KT200 has been verified to effectively read the Delphi DCM6.2V using OBD mode. However, without a VR file, it’s impossible to write to it.
The KT200 device successfully reads and writes DCM6.2V through OBD. It’s crucial to note that this ECU requires a robust power source – a minimum of 13.5v from the car’s system. Additionally, this is only applicable in cars equipped with an immobilizer.
If not VR file to suit vehicle is on server, we must find an original file to match, and VR file must be from your tool – it is different format than others. Also as said, ECU must be in car.
